This week students have been working on an interdisciplinary project with mathematics-- The Car Project. Students are learning how to organize, format and write professional reports. Most of the writing in the report allows students to hone their skills of summary writing which has been focus for us. Alongside the writing, students are applying their reading skills by skimming and scanning web-based information to use in developing their report.

Social Studies –
Students focused this week on the economic, social, and political causes of the Crusades. We will continue with the Crusades next week. The final day to turn in missing work will be May 17th. The Middle Ages test will be May 21st.
I am available for after school help every Thursday until 4:00 p.m.
